Opinion Leader supported Paramount+ for the arrival on the platform of the film “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”. The 4 famous turtles took to the pitch during the Serie A football match between Inter and Genoa.

In exactly 40 years of history, the legendary Ninja Turtles have faced adventures in every place, but never had Donatello, Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raphael illuminated the “Scala del calcio”, the San Siro stadium in Milan, with their exploits. This “debut” on the pitch took place on the evening of Monday 4 March 2024, during the Serie A match between Inter and Genoa. The reason? The arrival of the film “Ninja Turtles – Mutant Chaos“, on Paramount+, sponsor of the Nerazzurri team.


Press office and public relations

Opinion Leader, as press office of Nickelodeon (the TV channel that broadcasts the episodes of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in Italy), invited journalists to the stadium for this occasion. Not only could they watch the match, but also experienced the unusual and exciting pre-match. The 4 turtles in fact animated the phases preceding the kick-off from the sidelines and in the hospitality area. Ninja also welcomed the players as they entered the pitch for warm-ups. The event was sealed by the special uniform worn by the Inter team: a limited edition celebratory t-shirt with the famous logo of the film saga right in the centre.

Sports and entertainment

The Ninja Turtles operation in San Siro marked the union between sport and entertainment: 2 areas in which Opinion Leader “plays at home”, thanks to its experience in over 35 years. In fact, in the agency’s portfolio there are numerous “kids” clients (among these the brands Super! and Nickelodeon, both from Paramount), and a long list of personalities from the world of sport with whom Opinion Leader was a pioneer in organize seeding and Digital Pr activities. For the record, Inter – Genoa ended 2 to 1 in favor of the Nerazzurri team. It is not known whether thanks to the inspiration of the Ninja Turtles or Opinion Leader…
