02 May BERGAMO, THE CITY OF 40,000
Opinion Leader confirms its know-how in terms of mobility and automotive, trade fairs and large events. 50 journalists from local and national newspapers, both sector and non-sector, participated in the inauguration of the e-bike Festival, which took place in Bergamo. Over 40,000 visitors over the 3 days.
On Friday 12 April 2024 at 12:00 BikeUP – Electric Bicycle Power Festival symbolically blew out its first 10 candles. The 10th edition of the e-bike and light electric mobility Festival opened under the porticoes of the Sentierone in Bergamo, for which Opinion Leader took care of the press office and coordinated the PR and Digital PR strategies, for the second consecutive year.
“Networking Lunch” and test ride
To celebrate the highlight of the day, BikeUP Co-founder and Communication Manager, Stefano Forbici, cut the ribbon surrounded by around fifty journalists, invited and accompanied by the Milanese Agency. After the inauguration ceremony, a “Networking Lunch” was held, during which guests were able to meet representatives of the exhibiting companies in a dedicated area. There, one next to the other, the new e-bike models were displayed, some even presented as an absolute preview. In the afternoon, the media finally visited the exhibition and carried out test rides along the streets of the city.
The numbers of Bergamo
In the City of the Thousand, the 2024 Festival has found confirmation. In fact, around 40,000 people visited the over 80 stands of electric bikes, scooters and full electric cars (including Yamaha and Volvo making their debut at BikeUP). Furthermore, over 500 e-bike tours were carried out over the weekend, while 4,000 test rides were carried out. Finally, the kids area welcomed around 1,000 children, who had fun discovering cycling and the pleasure of living outdoors.
Work in progress
Opinion Leader now looks to Turin. As mentioned, in fact, for the second consecutive year, BikeUP will animate the Piedmontese capital between Corso Cairoli, Lungo Po Armando Diaz and Murazzi, from 24 to 26 May 2024. The Agency is therefore working again to consolidate the numbers for 2023 and involve new public and media profiles. The focus is to help the event become an event increasingly focused on 360-degree urban ‘green’ mobility.
